An anti-decubitus mattress helps prevent and treat pressure sores by automatically alternating pressure points on the body, reducing pain while lying down. This high-quality model improves comfort in cases of
pressure sores up to stage 3.
This alternating pressure mattress is made up of air compartments that inflate and deflate in turn. This happens very slowly, and most importantly: fully automatically. This alternation ensures that the same areas of the body are not under continuous pressure. With each cycle, blood flow is restored, preventing oxygen deprivation and further tissue damage.
The surface is made of easy-to-clean PU material and features a waterproof, antibacterial cover that can be fully unzipped and washed at 90°C. After every rental, Zorgpunt professionally cleans the mattress, cover and all accessories.
Extra features
Built-in sensors prevent the mattress from becoming too firm. It also has a convenient “nursing mode”: all air chambers inflate at once so the patient can be cared for comfortably. In emergencies, the CPR function instantly deflates the mattress to allow immediate cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
